CURC at the Conference

The College and University Recycling Coalition is hosting a half day interactive workshop on collegiate recycling topics. The workshop will include presentations from Kevin Lyons, Director of Purchasing at Rutgers University and Jennifer Battle, Assistant Director of Sustainability at Michigan State University.

The presentations will be followed by facilitated small group discussions lead by collegiate recycling experts on a variety of sustainable waste management topics. Participants will have an opportunity to share best practices from their programs and trouble shoot challenges to starting, growing and maintaining collegiate recycling efforts.

Discussions will include integration of waste prevention into campus sustainability goals. Bring mugs, shirts and other promotional items from your program for a grab bag exchange.
